Indian Peace Maker
We are serving Indigenous people
in a good way
to turn sorrow into dancing
ABOUT
Indian Peace Maker is about serving Indigenous people to turn sorrow into dancing.
Why? They are the Creators' children, and he planned for them to walk in a good way and celebrate life's sacredness. The Creator also entrusted them as the caretakers of North America, also known as Turtle Island.
But systems of oppression and greed appeared and destroyed the ability of Native people to continue living as they had for thousands of years with the Creator's blessing.
As a result, they nearly lost all their sacred culture, language, and ways of living and healing, beginning a time of sorrow and many tears of grief.
The vision of the Indian Peace Maker is to bring healing to the pain, loss, and wounds of oppression of the Native people, inspiring them to live and thrive again as Creator intended from the beginning.
Indian Peace Maker was founded by Manny Mestas (Apache) in 2024.
